SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Exploring the Social Determinants of Health to Enhance Clinical Care
DESCRIPTION:Social determinants of health which are broadly defined as the conditions in which people are born\, grow\, live\, work and age\, as well as their access to power\, money and resources have been shown to have a significant impact of health-related outcomes. Contemporary evidence suggests the social determinants of health can have significant influences on outcomes of adult neurogenic communication disorders. However\, the specific factors that drive those disparities are less clear. This presentation will explore the contributors to differences in the outcomes of adult neurogenic communication disorders with an emphasis on strategies to reduce the differences that exists and to facilitate equitable outcomes.REGISTRATION LINK
