The College of Health Sciences – Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Missouri (MU) – Columbia invites applications for a non-tenure track (NTT) clinical faculty position. The primary responsibility of this non-tenure track position will be to provide clinical supervision for graduate students who are completing on-campus clinical practicum experiences and to train those students to serve a range of clinical populations, in preparation to become an integral part of a diverse health care workforce. Additional responsibilities include participating in committee work and service activities to advance the mission and vision of our department, our school, and the university community.

Minimum Qualifications: A master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the time of appointment, ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP), Missouri licensure (or eligibility), and at least five years of clinical experience.

Candidates will be evaluated on their previous clinical experiences (with an emphasis on school-age language and/or literacy), previous experiences with supervising graduate students, excellent oral and written communication skills, along with a desire to support a collegial and diverse work environment.

The MU College of Health Sciences (CHS) is the University of Missouri system’s only school of health professions and the state’s only public health program located on a health sciences campus. Other members include the Sinclair School of Nursing, the School of Medicine, University Hospitals and Clinics and University Physicians.
