Position Summary:

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado is seeking a 9-month tenure track Assistant Professor of audiology with desired expertise to complement department faculty.  While individuals with broad scholarship and experience are encouraged to apply, desired areas of expertise may include pediatric or geriatric audiology, vestibular audiology, aural rehabilitation, tinnitus, cochlear implants, or auditory processing.

Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and doctoral level, conducting research, advising students, engaging in department and university service, and supporting the overall research, educational, and clinical missions of the department. Minimum Qualifications:

A terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D) in Audiology or a closely related field is required (ABD with expected completion by hire date will be considered).  Candidates should have aptitude and a plan for conducting scholarly research with demonstrated potential for success in obtaining external funding and disseminating research findings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical doctorate in audiology (AuD), Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology with eligibility for Colorado licensure is desired but not required.  Experience with online education is preferred.

Employees at UNC receive sick leave, and other leave options may be available based on position. Background Check
