Position Overview: The Communication Disorders Program at the University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track, assistant professor faculty member (speech-language pathology) with an expected start date of August 5, 2024. Summer teaching may be available.

Preferred area of expertise is dysphagia and voice; however, the position is open for all areas of emphasis for an exceptional candidate.


Responsibilities include:

Clinical supervision of student clinicians onsite

Undergraduate and/or graduate teaching

Mentoring undergraduate/graduate student research

Discipline-based scholarship

Providing service to the program, university, and discipline


Qualifications:

Possess a Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology

Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) for a minimum of 9-months prior to employment.

Hold or be eligible to obtain Missouri licensure
