DISCIPLINE Audiology TYPE Faculty

The Department of Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery at University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking a 12-month full-time audiology position with desired expertise to complement current department faculty. While individuals with broad scholarship and experience are encouraged to apply, desired areas of expertise include pediatric audiology, central auditory processing evaluation & management, and/or acoustics & psychoacoustics. The person in this position will have a critical role in directing courses in our new Doctor of Audiology program. Duties and responsibilities for the position include teaching, scholarship/research and professional, community, and or university service.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Audiology degree, AuD and or PhD from an accredited program. Ability to obtain current Mississippi license in audiology required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with patients of all ages with special interest in pediatric patients
  • Expertise or interest in acquiring expertise in central auditory processing evaluation and management
  • Expertise in acoustics & psychoacoustics
  • Strong interest in teaching and scholarship/research
