Mayo Clinic Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Speech-Language Pathology
The Mayo Clinic is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medical Speech-Language Pathology. The fellowship offers a mentored experience leading to increasing independence in differential diagnosis and management of neurologic speech, language, and cognitive disorders. The fellow has frequent interaction with staff, residents and fellows in neurology, pediatric neurology, otolaryngology, psychiatry, neuropsychology, psychology and physical medicine. A wide range of didactic educational opportunities are also available. While this is primarily a clinical postdoctoral fellowship, there is ample opportunity for mentored research.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Speech-Language –Pathology. Background in the neurosciences is preferred. ASHA CCC is preferred but it is possible to complete a CF as part of the post-doctoral fellowship. The fellowship may be for 1 or 2 years. Fellows completing a CF must complete a two-year fellowship.
