Clinical Assistant Professor – Audiology, 12-month, non-tenure track appointment, renewable annually.

Job Description:  Provision of clinical audiology services with an emphasis on tinnitus and hyperacusis evaluation and treatment across the lifespan through The University of Kansas Health System Neuroaudiology Clinic.  Clinical provider for The Center on Concussion Management. Coordinator of audiology clinical education and field study placements. Direct clinical supervision of audiology graduate students. Provision of graduate classroom instruction in area of expertise. Assistance with the oversight and maintenance of the clinic. Participation in interdisciplinary activities with other clinical units within the University. Service as a member of the Intercampus Executive Committee of the KU Intercampus Program in Communicative Disorders (IPCD). Provision of other service-related activities (committee/sub-committee/taskforce membership) to the Department, IPCD, and University. Participate in student-assisted research activities. Other duties as assigned.

** Required Qualifications ** Doctoral degree. CCC in Audiology or eligibility for the CCC-A. At least one year of recent experience in the provision of clinical tinnitus/hyperacusis evaluation and treatment services. Eligible for Kansas State Audiology License and Kansas State Hearing Aid License.

** Preferred Qualifications ** Four to six years of recent clinical experience. Experience in clinical supervision of audiology graduate students. Experience in graduate classroom instruction. Interest in or experience with auditory processing disorders or traumatic brain injuries.
