
Widener University Assistant/Associate Professor - Tenure Track
Widener University is currently seeking two 10-month tenure track faculty members in the Institute for Speech-Language Pathology. Both positions are full-time in-person. This role reports to the Director of the Institute for Speech-Language Pathology. The position is for a candidate with an academic/research doctorate (PhD, EdD) in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field; ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP); eligibility for SLP Licensure in Pennsylvania; and a minimum 2 years of clinical, teaching, and research experience in an institution of higher education. Preference will be given to individuals with clinical, teaching, and research expertise in pediatric and/or school-aged communication disorders, bilingual speech and language development, adult neurogenic communication disorders, or bilingual assessment and treatment practices in pediatric and/or adult populations.
The Institute for Speech-Language Pathology is housed in the College of Health and Human Services, which has a focus on interprofessional education, service, and research, and includes programs in clinical psychology, education, human sexuality, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and social work.
