10 month open rank tenure-track faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology program
Developing graduate program housed within the Indiana University at South Bend Vera Z. Dwyer College of Health Sciences seeks tenure-track faculty with a commitment toward inspiring and educating the next generation of speech-language pathologists. The program is founded in the interdisciplinary model with abounding opportunity to collaborate with different disciplines and creatively design coursework to enhance learning. This is a ten month, tenure-track or tenured faculty position that will be based at the newly redesigned Elkhart campus located in Elkhart, IN. Rank is open and dependent upon candidates’ record and qualifications. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, clinical supervision of graduate students primarily in the form of diagnostic labs, service to the university and community and research. Applicants will be expected to provide substantial contributions to the development and implementation of the graduate program, including mentoring of student capstone experiences. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in adult neurological disorders.
Salary: Commensurate with level of experience. Opportunity for potential summer over-base pay. Conference and travel funds available.

The applicant must have the CCC in SLP and be eligible for Indiana state licensure
Successful candidates will be expected to engage collaboratively in the College’s activities with an emphasis on interprofessional education.
Applicant must demonstrate continued leadership through planning, implementation and evaluation of the Speech-language Pathology Program and through support of the program and institution’s mission.
Some clinical supervision and direction of student research will be required.
