9-Month Tenure Track Faculty Position in Audiology
The University of Tennessee’s Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology (http://www.uthsc.edu/asp/) invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Audiology faculty position (open rank). Required qualifications: (a) Ph.D. in Hearing Science or related fields (applicants in the dissertation phase of their doctoral program will be considered).; (b) strong publication record commensurate with level in peer-reviewed journals; and (c) a desire to work in a dynamic and collegial academic environment. Area of expertise is open, however; applicants with experience in pediatric audiology and/or cochlear implants are preferred. Responsibilities will include: teaching, supervising student research, conducting research in an area of interest, and service. The Department is physically located on the University of Tennessee campus (UTK) in Knoxville, and is part of the College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. The University of Tennessee is a Carnegie Doctoral/Research Extensive Institution. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
