Appointment Stream Biostatistician Faculty Position in Communication Science and Disorders Department
The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) seeks applicants for a full-time assistant, associate, or full professor biostatistician in the SHRS Data Center. Primary responsibilities include collaborating with rehabilitation clinician scientists and engineers through the provision of research design and analysis expertise, conducting data analyses on large research projects in the health sciences, and teaching in graduate level research methods courses. The faculty position will be core faculty in the SHRS Data Center, (www.shrsdatacenter.pitt.edu) reporting to the Director of the SHRS Data Center and Associate Dean of Research, and will have a primary appointment in the SHRS Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Additional opportunities for secondary appointments exist.
The SHRS Data Center’s mission is to provide scientists with consistent, high-quality technology, data management and statistical services. The SHRS Data Center operates as a collaborative team, providing expertise in all phases of research, thus ensuring efficient use of resources, and is strongly committed to research integrity, data quality, reproducibility, and transparency.
