DISCIPLINE Speech-Language Pathology

The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) at the University of Florida is seeking applications for a Speech-Language Pathology faculty position at any rank. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), tenure-track, 12-month position that is expected to start in fall 2020. Successful applicants will have clearly defined expertise in a relevant research area, teaching experience, and a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. Areas of special interest include child language development and disorders, bilingualism, social communication, and autism. Duties will include teaching at the upper-division undergraduate and graduate levels, research in the area of expertise, pursuit of external funding, mentoring of students, and service to the department.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must have their PhD in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications: A successful applicant at the Associate or Full Professor level must have a strong track record of external grant funding. For hires at the assistant professor level, potential to develop such a record should be demonstrated.
