Assistant/Associate Professor in Audiology (Tenure-Track)
Applications are invited for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor within the Program of Audiology, Division of Communicative Disorders, Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and Communicative Disorders, University of Louisville School of Medicine. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 1, 2022. The Division of Communicative Disorders includes the Au.D. Program and the M.S. program in Speech-Language Pathology. The audiology program at the University of Louisville developed and implemented one of the first Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree programs in the country. The program is located in the heart of the Health Sciences Campus and provides an exciting educational experience in a dynamic medical environment. Approximately 35 graduate students are currently enrolled in the Au.D. program. The Program has seven full and part-time faculty, and operates several clinical sites in the Medical Center complex in downtown and suburban Louisville, KY.
Candidate must hold a doctoral degree in Audiology, or a related field, by Fall 2022. The CCC-A credential, and eligibility for state licensure are preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have a record of successful university teaching experience, interprofessional work experience in a medical setting, and advanced clinical or research training. As part of our vision and commitment to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to mentor graduate students in research and may provide graduate clinical supervision. Salary is commensurate with background and experience. This position is currently available and will be open until filled.
