Gannon University in Ruskin, Florida invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Speech-Language Pathology. This is a full time 12-month position (tenure track or teaching track depending on the candidate’s preference) with an academic start date of July 2020.  Salary is commensurate with experience.  Applicants with areas of specialization in Child Language Disorders, Adult Language Disorders, or Fluency Disorders are preferred, however other areas of expertise will be strongly considered.  Responsibilities for the tenure-track or the teaching track include classroom teaching, clinical supervision, advising graduate students in academic and clinical aspects of professional growth, and contributing to the school with research/scholarship and/or service.   


Requirements include research Doctorate (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology or related area; ASHA CCC/SLP, and hold or be eligible for Florida licensure in SLP.  ABD candidates may apply, but completion of the doctorate is required by the start date, July 1, 2020.  Candidates must be able to support and promote the University’s inclusive Mission and its liberal arts and professional education traditions.
