Department of Speech-Language Pathology


CAA accredited program seeks an individual to teach undergraduate and graduate coursework in speech/language pathology, conduct research, and provide clinical supervision. Area of specialization is open. The Department enrolls approximately 140 majors: 60 Master’s degree students and 80 undergraduates. Faculty consists of six tenured or tenure-track speech-language pathologists. A full-time Clinical Coordinator as well as a Clinic Director are also integral members of the team.


Qualifications:

-Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Science or a closely related field; doctoral candidates who are ABD will also be considered


-ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology


-Possess or be eligible for a California Speech-Language Pathology license


-Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and research activities
