DISCIPLINE Speech-Language Pathology



Widener University is currently seeking a 10-month tenure track faculty member in the Institute for Speech-Language Pathology. This role reports to the Director of the Institute for Speech-Language Pathology. The position is for a candidate with an academic/research doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field; ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP); eligibility for SLP Licensure in Pennsylvania; and a minimum 2 years of clinical, teaching, and research experience in an institution of higher education. Preference will be given to individuals with clinical, teaching, and research expertise in aphasia, dysphagia, voice, fluency, or special populations such as cleft palate and craniofacial anomalies.


The Institute for Speech-Language Pathology is housed in the College of Health and Human Services, which has a focus on interprofessional education, service, and research, and includes programs in clinical psychology, education, human sexuality, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and social work. Our students represent a multitude of diverse identities.
