Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology
The responsibilities associated with this tenure-track faculty position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising students in clinical practicum placements, engaging in research and scholarship activities; engaging in service to the department, university and profession; and promoting and supporting the university’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusivity among the campus community. All areas of expertise will be considered; preferred areas are speech science, voice disorders and/or motor speech disorders. Some travel is expected when workload assignments include serving as a liaison for students registered for off-campus practicum and/or the externship.The following are required by date of appointment: Doctoral degree (e.g., PHD, EdD, or SLPD) with emphasis in speech-language pathology. ABD will be considered at instructor level with conferral of doctoral degree required for retention after the first year, CCC-SLP, Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure in speech-language pathology. Preferred qualifications include teaching experience, clincal supervision experience, and expertise in speech science, voice disorders, and/or motor speech disorders.
