Assistant Professor, Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)  The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking an individual with expertise in adult neurogenic communication disorders to fill an academic/clinical full-time, 12-month, consecutive-term position available immediately but with flexibility in start date. 


Duties will include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas of expertise; providing graduate clinical education and direct SLP services in the university’s John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center; participating in scholarly activities of interest; and participating in departmental, college, and university service and governance. 


The qualified applicant will possess an earned master’s or higher degree, CCC-SLP, eligibility for OK licensure, experience with a variety of clinical populations, three years of post-certification work experience in the profession, experience with clinical education, and excellent interpersonal, outreach, and communication skills. Successful university teaching experience, interprofessional work experience in a medical setting, and advanced clinical or research training are preferred but not required qualifications.
