Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology
Responsibilities: Classroom teaching, clinical supervision, and contribute to the school with research/scholarship and service.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or doctoral equivalent in the discipline or related area, eligibility for ASHA CCC/SLP, and eligibility for Ohio licensure in SLP. ABD candidates may apply, but completion of the doctorate is required by the start date, August 24, 2020.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those with experience in clinical supervision, college-level teaching, research and grant writing. Expertise in child language development, language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders along with any other areas of child language is preferred. Candidates with experience in Dysphagia and/or other areas of expertise in SLP will be considered.
Research Opportunities: Collaboration with several sites including a neurological rehabilitation center and several child-based placements in the area may provide opportunities for clinical research with a variety of clients.

School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology: This School houses an undergraduate program in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology along with two graduate programs (Master of Arts Degree) in Speech-Language Pathology; one graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology is campus-based, and the other is a collaborative distance-learning program with the University of Cincinnati. It also is home of a clinical doctorate program in Audiology.
