The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in speech-language pathology with a start date of January 2020 or August 2020. Open to all areas of speech-language pathology, preference given to those with expertise in the area(s) of voice, swallowing, and/or fluency.

• Teach two courses per semester.

• Engage in scholarly activities leading to publication and external funding.

• Participate in service to the department, College, and University as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ABD or earned terminal degree (i.e., Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in speech-language pathology or related field.

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

• Current licensure in West Virginia or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.


Salary and start-up funds are competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
