Assistant Professors-2 Positions
The University of Central Arkansas Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders invites applications for 2, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor positions with a desired start date of August 2020. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is located in the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. information about the department and its programs can be found at www.uca.edu/csd.
Responsibilities includes teaching undergraduate and graduate students; development of dynamic research program; clinical supervision of master’s students; and service to the department and university.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preference will be given to individuals with teaching/research interests in the areas of AAC, adult neurogenic language disorders, cognitive disorders, pediatric feeding and swallowing, craniofacial disorders, voice, or speech-sound disorders. Other areas of expertise will be considered for outstanding candidates.
PhD or EdD (ABD considered) in speech-language pathology/speech and hearing and/or Experience: sciences/communication sciences and disorders or closely related field.
