The School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position beginning Spring 2023.

This nine-month faculty position (with possible summer salary) will be responsible for participating in clinical education in our Master’s program. The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision for diagnostics and treatment teams at the FSU Speech & Hearing Clinic.

The candidate may also assist with development of community outreach programs and participate in teaching courses in an area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include working with the Director of Clinical Education to maintain student and supervisor documentation for certification and accreditation, group and individual advising, and other clinical duties as assigned.


   Earned Master's, SLPD or Ph.D. in Communication Science and Disorders from an accredited institution, or equivalent qualifications based on         professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching.

  • At least five years of experience in clinical training, teaching, and/or clinical supervision. ASHA CCC-SLP and eligibility for FL state licensure is required


 Area of expertise with school age children is preferred; however, candidates with teaching and/or clinical experience with preschool age expertise are also encouraged to apply.
