Baylor University seeks applications for an Assistant Clinical Professor and Online Clinical Placement Director in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders, within the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences.

Baylor University and faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders seek an Assistant Clinical Professor and Online Clinical Placement Director.
Qualifications: Qualifications include a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and clinical education in Speech-Language Pathology. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. or SLPD in Communication Sciences & Disorders with experience in clinical leadership, clinical placements, supervision, online teaching and administration. Candidates who have ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for state licensure are preferred.
Responsibilities: The position entails responsibilities that include locating and working with clinical placements and speech-language supervisors across the country for Baylor’s online masters program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The applicant will be responsible for working with the Chair, Residential Graduate Program Director, Residential Clinic Director, Online Graduate Director and corporate partners to ensure the excellence and availability of clinical off-site placements. The Online Clinical Placement Director is also responsible for clinical hour reviews, ensuring that placements meet the student’s certification needs, and advising students on their clinical progress on a regular basis. Online teaching may be required. Residency at Baylor is not required.
Salary and Review Date: Salary is commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
