The Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Department of Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine, invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty appointment. This faculty member will provide audiology services at the UNC Hearing and Communication Center and engage in academic teaching of graduate students in the Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program. Primary clinical responsibilities will involve growth and expansion of our balance/vestibular clinic; may participate in the evaluation of hearing and hearing aid dispensing in adults. Teaching responsibilities include both classroom and clinical lab experiences, as well as clinical precepting of AuD students.

Required Qualifications, Competences, and Experience 

Minimum Requirements: Doctoral degree (AuD) and eligibility for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor; experience performing hearing evaluations and hearing aid selection/fitting with adult populations; eligibility for NC licensure. Minimum of five years of experience in vestibular assessment; experience as a clinical preceptor with AuD students and classroom teaching. 

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience: 

Preferred qualifications include classroom teaching experience at the University level.
