Clinical Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology
This individual will provide clinical supervision of graduate SLP interns, provide direct patient care within the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center, and participate in the academic missions of the department. This faculty member will report to the CSD Department Chair and will have service and teaching responsibilities, the latter to include teaching two to three didactic courses per year in the department’s undergraduate and/or graduate programs. Supervision, patient care, and teaching assignments will depend on the applicant’s background and area(s) of expertise.
Applicants must have completed at least three years of successful work experience and either possess, or be eligible for, SLP licensure in Oklahoma. Expertise with Autism Spectrum Disorders in children, experience in clinical supervision, and a record of successful academic teaching are preferred. Applicants should possess excellent communication, team-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Date of hire is contingent upon the University’s verification of credentials and other information required by State law and University policies. A pre-employment screening, including completion of a criminal history background check, is required. The position will remain open until filled. Salary is negotiable with an excellent benefits package.
