
Clinical Assistant Professor - Speech Language Pathology
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) seeks a speech-language pathology clinical supervisor for a 9-month position, beginning August 23, 2021. The primary responsibility is clinical teaching/supervising undergraduate students majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and graduate students in the Master of Science of Speech-Language Pathology program who are enrolled in on-campus and off-campus clinical practicums. There may be undergraduate and/or graduate course teaching assignments based on expertise and experience. Excellence in teaching, professional development, and service are required for retention and promotion.
Required qualifications by the date of appointment:
-Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (e.g., MS, MA) or Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an educational and/or medical setting
- CCC-SLP
- Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure in speech-language pathology
- Good interpersonal and clinical writing skills
Preferred: Supervision and/or teaching experience
This is a nine-month academic year appointment. Summer employment is possible but is dependent on the needs of the department.
