Position Title: Clinical Educator of Speech-Language Pathology

Position Description: The Department of Communication Disorders at New Mexico State University (NMSU) invites applicants for a Clinical Educator of Speech-Language Pathology College Associate Professor.

The candidate must have a Master’s degree with evidence of specialized training and/or experience in either Early Childhood speech language diagnosis and treatment of Dysphagia diagnosis and treatment. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and eligibility for a New Mexico SLP license.

The successful applicant will provide undergraduate and graduate clinical and classroom education in a Communication Disorders program serving diverse student and clinical populations. Candidates may support research and publication for departmental and faculty. Other responsibilities include participation in departmental and college service. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a vibrant program of collegial, diverse, student-centered faculty members
