The SUNY Cortland Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, 10-month Clinical Instructor position with academic year obligation as part of an undergraduate and graduate program. Appointment is expected to begin in August 2022. Primary responsibilities include clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on- and off-campus clinical practicum. Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy. Teaching one course could be considered based on the needs of the department.

Required qualifications are a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology, a New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology, at least three years’ clinical experience in speech-language pathology, and at least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date. Previous clinical supervision and/or evidence of a commitment to promoting a diverse academic/clinical environment is preferred.
