Clinical Instructor - Teaching 1
The School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University invites applications for a fulltime non-tenure track faculty position beginning Fall 2021. This is a nine-month faculty position (with possible summer salary) will be responsible for participating in clinical education in our Master’s program. The successful candidate will provide clinical supervision for diagnostics and treatment teams at the FSU Speech & Hearing Clinic.
The candidate may also assist with development of community outreach programs and participate in teaching courses in area of expertise. Additional responsibilities include working with the Director of Clinical Education to maintain student and supervisor documentation for certification and accreditation, group and individual advising, and other clinical duties as assigned.
- Academic Doctorate or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Communication Science and Disorders, or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching.
- ASHA CCC-SLP and eligibility for FL state licensure is required.
Area of expertise with infant, toddler and preschool age children is preferred; however, candidates with teaching and/or clinical experience with early school age literacy disorders are also encouraged to apply.
