The Communication Sciences Program within the Department of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin AY 2020-2021. The department has a PhD program in communication sciences and a CAA accredited master's program in communication sciences (speech-language pathology). In addition, the department has both an APA accredited Ph.D. program in clinical psychology and a PhD program in Developmental, Cognitive, and Affective Sciences. It also offers undergraduate programs in communication sciences and psychology. Requested area of expertise is open. Candidates will be evaluated on their potential to establish a prominent, externally funded research program and to excel in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The standard teaching load is two courses each semester.

A Ph.D. in Communications Sciences and Disorders or a related field (with CCC-SLP preferred) is required by the time of appointment (ABD applicants will be considered, but must have earned their Ph.D. prior to the beginning of the academic year).
