The Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences at Metropolitan State University of Denver is inviting applicants for a full-time, 12-month renewable position as Director of Clinical Education, to join our team as part of our anticipated graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology.  The Director of Clinical Education assumes a leadership role in the Department of Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences and has primary responsibility for the clinical education of speech-language pathology graduate students in line with accreditation and certification requirements of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Qualified applicants will have a) at least a master's degree in speech-language pathology; b) a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice as an ASHA-certified SLP including bilingual Spanish-English service provision; c) a minimum of 3 years of clinical supervision of graduate students in speech-language pathology; d) clinical licensure, or eligibility for clinical licensure, in Colorado; and e) ASHA requirements for clinical supervision.  Individuals from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply.  The Director of Clinical Education will engage in clinical education and administration; teaching and advising; supervising personnel; and other responsibilities as assigned.  For a detail description of duties and responsibilities as well as preferred qualifications of the position visit
