Position: Assistant or Associate Professor of Audiology. Full-time, tenure/non-tenure, 12-month position. Primary areas of interest are expertise in teaching and conducting research in any of the following areas desired: auditory processing disorders, cochlear and brainstem implants, auditory rehabilitation. Doctoral degree in Audiology
At least 5 years of experience in audiology education
Hold or be eligible for PA audiology Licensure
Knowledge and expertise in the clinical practice of audiology
Show evidence of or interest in research activity and translational research
We encourage applicants from all areas of expertise in Audiology. Prior university service experience is highly desirable. National recognition in the area of the candidate’s expertise is also highly desirable.
Primary Responsibilities: Teaching Au.D courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and/or participating as a clinical preceptor at the Pennsylvania Ear Institute. Primary areas of interest are expertise in teaching and conducting research in any of the following areas: auditory processing disorders, cochlear and brainstem implants, auditory rehabilitation. Candidates with expertise in other areas are also encouraged to apply. Candidates will also be able to conduct and disseminate scholarly research in their area of expertise. Participate in College and University service activities.

University/Program: The George S. Osborne College of Audiology (OCA) housed in Salus University, has independent status and is one of three colleges at the University, located in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Philadelphia). OCA offers the largest AuD oncampus program, AuD Bridge program for practicing professionals, and MSCA program for practicing audiologists with a Bachelors degree. Along with this OCA also offers several advanced studies certificate programs.
