The Division of Speech and Language Pathology in the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Binghamton University invites applications for a full-time, open rank faculty member. This is a 10-month appointment with opportunity to teach in both the Undergraduate Minor and the planned Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. There is an opportunity for participating in doctoral training in one of the interdisciplinary programs on campus. Job responsibilities include teaching, research activity (e.g., mentoring students, grant writing, publications and conference presentations), and service to the program, college, university, community, and profession. Preference will be given to candidates who show evidence of a successful research agenda or potential to develop such a plan, as well as traditional or online teaching experience in area of expertise. Teaching excellence and current scholarship/research will determine rank.
The successful applicant will have a research doctorate (PhD or EdD) in speech language pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or a related field. Candidates Preference will be given to candidates who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP and are eligible or hold a license to practice Speech and Language Pathology in New York.
