Tenure-track Assistant Professor, Au.D.
The Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences at California State University Northridge announces one tenure-track position for an individual possessing an earned doctorate in audiology (Ph.D. or Au.D.). The position is at the rank of Assistant Professor. ABD's may be considered. A successful candidate should have an academic and clinical background that will qualify him/her to teach existing undergraduate audiology core courses as well as graduate courses for the Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.), and to provide preceptorship of clinical services in audiology, including hearing aid dispensing at the CSUN Language, Speech and Hearing Center. Evidence of recent clinical and/or research experience with pediatric populations is highly desirable. A successful candidate will also be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses that support the speech-language pathology program in areas such as anatomy and physiology of the auditory system, audiometry, and pediatric audiology.
