Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Speech- Language Pathology: School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) seeks an assistant professor for a 9-month tenure-track position, beginning August 2020. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate SLP courses and supervising on-campus clinical practicum. The desired areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, child language and phonology. Faculty members at UWSP are expected to engage in ongoing research/scholarship activities and provide service to the department, university, and the profession.


Required by the date of appointment:

 -Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD) with emphasis in speech-language pathology. ABD will be considered at instructor level with conferral of doctoral degree required for retention after the first year. Individuals with a Master’s degree will be considered for lecturer rank with the agreement to complete an academic doctoral degree within 7 years of the initial hire. At least partial financial support is available for the cost of academic doctoral studies.


-Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure in speech-language pathology
