Tenure Track Faculty Position in Communication Sciences and Disorders
Position Description: Nine-month tenure track faculty appointment with academic and clinical teaching responsibilities. The selected candidate will mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the classroom and the clinic, conduct and disseminate research in area(s) of interest. Provide service to university, community, state and profession. The successful candidate must effectively mentor students in academic, clinical, and research activities. In addition, successful candidates will need to meet the United States criteria for eligibility for employment.
Research Degree (Ph.D., EdD.) in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; ABD candidates with completion expected within 18 months of employment are encouraged to apply. CCC-SLP and eligibility for Kansas SLP license required.
All areas of expertise within the field of communication sciences and disorders will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with clinical and teaching experience. Individuals with clinical experience, but limited teaching experience will be considered.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is one of six departments within the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. The CSD department is active in teaching, research, and service through integrated academic and clinical coursework. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree and a CAA accredited Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
