


Kelly Farquharson
Kelly Farquharson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an SLP and an associate professor and director of the Children Literacy and Speech Sound Lab at Florida State University. Her research interests include school-aged children with phonological and language disorders, the effect of those disorders on the acquisition of literacy skills, and the cognitive, environmental, and academic factors that contribute to phonological and language disorders. She is also interested in practice patterns for the school-based SLPs.


Crystal Murphree-Holden
Crystal Murphree-Holden is currently Director of Distance Education and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Carolina. She has been on faculty at UofSC since 2004 and is involved in academic, clinical education and instructional aspects of graduate student training. Crystal’s professional experiences include schools, private practice, rehabilitation facilities, community clinics and university settings.
Crystal currently serves as Vice President on Higher Education and CE Content Consultant for the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association (SCSHA). She is also a SCSHA Past President. Crystal has presented in the areas of ethics, supervision, IPE/IPP and distance learning at local, state and national levels.
