Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - Audiology
Nova Southeastern University’s Health Professions Division is expanding with a recent $230 million in investments and endowments. The Audiology Department announces the availability for an audiology faculty position. Applicants with an Ed.D. or Ph.D. in the Hearing Sciences are desired. Those who are ABD will be considered; applicants must be eligible for Florida Audiology licensure. We are seeking candidates with an expertise in amplification and/or electrophysiology. Applicants are expected to have a strong background in and dedication to scholarly activity, teaching, service and to interact well with colleagues and students.
NSU is a private, not-for-profit, dynamic research institution with more than 22,000 students at the undergraduate, graduate and first-professional degree levels. The Audiology Department is a part of the NSU Health Professions Division along with other first-professional degree programs such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry, etc. The department, a clinically focused AuD program, is currently in its 24th year of offering the on-campus Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree. It also is the home of the state-of-the-art Audiology Clinic. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, five years is preferred.
