ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE/ PROFESSOR
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Required qualifications include an earned PhD degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (ABD candidate with anticipated degree by June 2026 will be considered), evidence of successful university teaching, potential for a productive research program, and excellent interpersonal, outreach, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred qualifications include didactic teaching experience in the areas of Oral-Facial Anomalies, Dysphagia, or Fluency, an interest in interprofessional health education, and eligibility for professional licensure in Oklahoma. Candidates with evidence of the ability to secure grant funding, mentor graduate student research, and engage in collaborative research at a large, comprehensive health center are strongly encouraged to apply.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual filling this position will serve as an academic faculty member in the Speech-Language Pathology program within the Department of CSD, College of Allied Health.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Teach didactic courses in the MA-SLP and pre-professional Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree programs.
Conduct research/scholarship in area of expertise.
Mentor MA-SLP students in clinical and research activities.
Contribute to university, college, department, and section committees.
