
Assistant Clinical Professor
The University of Arizona’s Department of Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences seeks a Full-Time, benefits-eligible Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Faculty member to:
- Provide evidence-based clinical services and student clinical supervision for pediatric populations.
- Provide services in-person and via telepractice for on-campus clinics and off-campus contracts with local/regional partners.
- Participate in the teaching, scholarship, and service activities of our academic program.
This position is for a career-track, non-tenure eligible faculty member who is an expert in the clinical care of people with communication disorders. The successful candidate will have the skills and knowledge to effectively teach future professionals to become competent, ethical speech-language pathologists or speech-language pathology assistants. Target Hire Date: 8/1/2025
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience providing graduate student supervision and experience with pediatric populations.
- Advanced spoken/written Spanish language skills.
- Experience in classroom teaching and program development.
- Experience in specialty areas of providing services to culturally and linguistically diverse populations, literacy, rural communities, early intervention, cleft palate/VPI, or phonology.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, or equivalent
- Five years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- License/license-eligibility for practice in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Arizona
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
