The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Texas at Tyler is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor to join our Speech-Language Pathology program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of an innovative program that prepares future leaders in the field of speech and language pathology.
Position Requirements:
- Earned terminal degree (Ph.D. or Doctorate) in Speech-Language Pathology/CSD.
- ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Texas licensure in SLP or eligibility for licensure.
- A minimum of three (3) years of direct clinical work with adults who have motor speech disorder, Dysphasia, Aphasia, and cognitive communication disorders preferred.
- Three (3) years of university teaching experience preferred. Doctoral graduates with outstanding record will be considered.
- Experience with AAC preferred.
- Evidence of an established line of research or potential to establish one.
- Ability to obtain external funding.
