Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology
The Speech-Language Pathology Program in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Auburn University is accepting applications for a 9-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. At the time of appointment applicants must have a doctoral degree in Communication Disorders or related field (1 year ABD considered as instructor). CCC- SLP certification and eligibility for Alabama licensure are desired. While all areas of expertise will be considered, the ability to teach the following content is desired: speech development, speech science, craniofacial anomalies, special populations, pediatric motor speech disorders, dysphagia. The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses. The candidate also will conduct research and pursue extramural funding, advise students, direct student research, and participate in department and university service.
