Position:
The College of Health Professions invites applications for a tenure-track, 9-month Assistant Professor position in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and in affiliation with the Autism Studies PhD program in the College of Health Professions. The preferred start date is August 2026. Faculty with expertise in autism are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a doctoral degree in speech-language pathology or a related field. ABD applications will be considered with initial appointment at the Instructor rank; all degree requirements must be completed by February 28, 2027. Candidates should have a commitment to working across programs, disciplines, and cultures to strengthen the field. Candidates with ASHA CCC-SLP certification and current (or eligibility for) Maryland licensure will be prioritized.
Salary and Benefits:
Targeted salary range: $83,000 - $88,000 commensurate with experience.
