The School of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2027.

This is a full-time, tenure-track position, with a 9-month appointment; academic year requirements include teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, research and service. Candidates with research experience in voice, swallowing, hearing loss, and/or clinical education leadership are especially encouraged to apply.

 Qualifications for the Assistant Professor rank include: 

• Earned doctorate in communication science and disorders or related areas.
• Experience with teaching and research.
• Experience with external grant awards is preferred.
