Position:

Clinical Assistant Professor-Audiology.  12 month, non-tenure track appointment, renewable annually.


Job Description:

  • Offer comprehensive clinical evaluations and interventions for clients across all age groups, prioritizing pediatric populations.

  • Provide clinical supervision for audiology graduate students and deliver graduate-level instruction.

  • Assist with the oversight and maintenance of the clinic.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary activities with other clinical units within the University.

  • Serve as a member of the Intercampus Executive Committee of the KU Intercampus Program in Communicative Disorders (IPCD).

  • Provision of other service-related activities (committee/sub-committee/taskforce membership) to the Department, IPCD, and University.

  • Participate in student-assisted research activities.

Required Qualifications

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC).

  • Eligible for Kansas State Audiology License and Kansas State Hearing Aid License.


Work Experience: 

2 years of clinical experience including evoked potential testing and hearing aid evaluation, fitting, and dispensing in pediatric populations.


Preferred Qualifications

Work Experience:

  • Experience in clinical supervision of audiology graduate students.

  • Experience in graduate classroom instruction.

  • Interest in or experience with Auditory Processing Disorder.
