Communication Sciences and Disorders - Clinical Assistant Professor - Limited Term - Speech-Language Pathology
Job duties include:
Clinical supervision of student interns in the Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology program
Continuous direct patient care within the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center
Instruction of didactic coursework to undergraduate and professional students
Participation in the academic missions of the department, college, and university. This is primarily a clinical position with service and teaching responsibilities appropriate to the applicant’s experience and expertise.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and have completed at least one year of successful work experience after earning the CCC-SLP. In addition, applicants must have completed at least two (2) hours of professional development in clinical instruction/supervision.
Applicants should possess excellent communication, team-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications: includes experience with pediatric diagnostics and treatment, and previous supervision experience.
