Clinical Coordinator of Speech-Language Pathology: Rockhurst University at Regis
The Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Department at Rockhurst University is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the satellite SLP graduate program on the campus of Regis University. This full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position is expected to begin in May 2026 (start date negotiable). The Clinical Coordinator works collaboratively to plan and implement a high-quality clinical education program that meets or exceeds professional accreditation and certification requirements. This position requires engagement with clinical sites, clinical educators, students, interprofessional groups, professional organizations, university administrators, and faculty. This is not a remote position.
Accountabilities (these are the ‘big picture' responsibilities that the employee is accountable for)
1. Secure and manage clinical placements for speech-language pathology graduate students
2. Advise graduate students and provide feedback regarding progression in their clinical program
3. Assess clinical skill development of student clinicians and provide support when needed
4. Instruct 2-3 clinical courses/labs each semester on the Regis Campus in Denver and virtually
5. Supervise clinical practicum in community placements, if needed.
6. Manage day-to-day clinical operations of the SLP program in Denver
7. Collaborate with Department leadership to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the SLP clinical education program
8. Serve as point of contact for students and clinical educators throughout clinical experiences
9. Conduct site visits of clinical placements to ensure training is provided in compliance with all applicable standards
10. Manage the electronic documentation system for tracking clinical hours and competencies (Exxat)
11. Support the professional development of clinical educators by developing and conducting relevant training
12. Other duties as assigned to support program operations and student success
Organization
The position reports to the SLP Clinic Director and SLP Program Director. This position generally has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Additionally, the role demands sensitivity in managing relationships with clinical supervisors, faculty, and students, who may have varying levels of experience and expectations.
The position requires strong organizational and technological skills, as data management is a key responsibility. The incumbent must ensure accurate and timely documentation of student placements, compliance records, and clinical competency evaluations across multiple electronic systems.

Position Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience practicing as a Speech-Language Pathology
- Colorado state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible)
- Minimum 4 years of experience supervising a graduate student in a clinical practicum
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a university setting
- Alignment with the mission of Jesuit education
- Previous teaching experience (Preferred)
