Wilson College is seeking a passionate higher‑education professional committed to advancing our mission through thoughtful admissions leadership and hands‑on student support.

The Coordinator of Admissions is a faculty-appointed position responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the academic program through administrative, academic, service, and scholarly contributions. This role requires demonstrated competence in teaching and the implementation of effective strategies that promote student success. The Coordinator of Admissions leads and oversees admissions-related functions, including planning, coordinating, facilitating, administering, and monitoring activities in collaboration with academic and clinical faculty.

Until the program reaches full maturation, the Coordinator of Admissions will also serve as the Coordinator of Student Success. In this capacity, the individual is responsible for planning, coordinating, facilitating, administering, and monitoring student success initiatives on behalf of the academic program. The Coordinator of Student Success supports students in their transition into the program and plays an active role in connecting them with student support services and mentorship opportunities both within the academic program and across the college.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading admissions operations, policies, and committee work
  • Developing and implementing holistic admissions processes and rubrics
  • Coordinating recruitment, outreach, and virtual engagement efforts
  • Overseeing student onboarding, orientation, and early success programming
  • Serving as chair of Admissions and Student Success committees
  • Supporting accreditation, compliance, and program assessment activities
  • Teaching assigned courses (as appropriate to workload allocation)
  • Contributing to scholarship, service, and professional engagement

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or clinical doctorate) in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time core faculty experience in a CAA-accredited MS-SLP program
  • Experience with holistic admissions processes and student success initiatives
  • CCC-SLP certification and Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility)
  • Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Experience with accreditation processes preferred

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Full-time, 12-month appointment
  • Remote/hybrid work environment
  • Periodic travel required to the Philadelphia metro area for clinical residencies and Chambersburg, PA for college functions
  • Role allocation: Administration (50%), Teaching (30%), Scholarship/Research Mentoring (10%), Clinical Practice (5%), Service (5%)
