Instructor/Clinical Educator in Speech-Language Pathology
Duties: The Department of Communication Disorders at the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz invites applications for a full-time (10-Month), tenure track Instructor position. Responsibilities include: • Supervising onsite and/or offsite graduate clinical practicum • Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses • Advising undergraduate students • Participating in departmental service (graduate admissions, comprehensive exams, etc.) Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an earned masters degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for NYS licensure in SLP are required. Clinical experience is required, and experience in clinical supervision is preferred. Area of expertise is open, but expertise in child and adolescent assessment and intervention is preferred. A commitment to clinical education that integrates clinical and classroom experiences and focuses on current evidence-based practice is a priority.
