DISCIPLINE Speech-Language Pathology

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Health Sciences at Marywood University is seeking a full-time Instructor of Practice in Speech-Language Pathology. This is a 12-month position. Anticipated start date for this position is January 5, 2026.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Clinical education/supervision of diagnostic and therapeutic sessions
  • Assistance with clinical operations and CAA/ASHA accreditation activities
  • Advisement of students
  • Participation in university and departmental shared governance
  • Service to the department, university, college, profession, and community
  • Completion of clinical scholarship activities
  • Academic teaching (as necessary and interested)

Minimum Requirements: The successful applicant will possess a master’s degree or clinical doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and PA state licensure (or eligibility). Applicants must have 5-years of clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in clinical supervision as well as AAC.
